Christmas is almost here and I want to give a gift to you – my lovely, faithful readers. I feel like you are my friends and I appreciate you so much. I’m so honored that you visit my blog, that you cook for your family using my recipes, that you share them with your friends and family. I want you to know how much it means to me when you take the time out of your busy days to write comments and give me feedback. I know that this blog wouldn’t be possible without you. It’s so special to connect with all of you.

So, I am hosting a giveaway of something that I find very useful in my own kitchen – this handy, dandy KitchenAid 3 Speed Hand Blender. It’s a mini food processor, a whisk and an immersion blender all in one. It’s perfect for so many kitchen tasks. It’s very useful when you need to chop just a small amount of ingredients, especially since there are only 2 adults in our home. If you want to quickly whip up some cream for your pie or whisk some eggs you can do it with very minimal mess by using the whisk attachment. An immersion blender is awesome for blending soups right in the pot, without having to lug out your big blender. It saves me from washing too many dishes, and doesn’t take too much space in my kitchen.

    Hi, Awesome giveaway. I’ve seen those before, they seem like something that can be a very useful tool. I like my blender, but don’t like to use it for small amounts of food. I check your website regularly, for any new food recipes and family updates. I’d like to see more tips for kitchen: ie sharpening knifes, how to keep a kitchen herb garden (if you have that, I tried basil, and it died in few days before I was able to use it all up.) Any kitchen herbs that are best fresh, and ones that can be dried. Maybe if you have tips on the salt types to use (fine, medium, course)I am finding that course sea salt htat is so popular isn’t always right in some dishes. Thanks
